Michelle Curtze, LPC, is a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT-200) with Yoga Alliance. Her background as a professional counselor gives her greater insight into the therapeutic effects of yoga. Ever since she found herself in her first hot yoga class in 2010, she was hooked. She quickly realized the benefits of yoga for anxiety and stress reduction.
After a lifetime of athletics, yoga seemed to be the next natural step for Michelle. Following four years of practice, she began teacher training. In 2014, she completed her 200-hour teacher training through Yogafit and 100 hours through Amazing Yoga, she is also currently in the process of completing her 300-hour Yin Yoga Certification through Josh Summers’ School of Yin Yoga. Michelle embodies her passion for yoga by attending classes 3-5 times per week and teaching a Yin Yoga and Basics Power Yoga at yogaErie.
