A Brave Approach
Michelle approaches life with confidence; she can often be found exploring the cypress domes and waters of south Florida’s Everglades National Park or running the trails of Presque Isle State Park. She feeds her passion for adventure through free diving, boating, birding, cooking, running, photography and yoga. Her never-ending energy translates into a confident yet compassionate leader who will inspire you to take on your own challenges. She addresses your fears, shame, and vulnerabilities as a problem solver, using evidence-based treatment strategies and engaging workshop content to empower you to move toward the life you envision.
Experience
Michelle earned her Master of Arts in Clinical Psychology from Edinboro University, and has completed additional training in Community Counseling. She has been trained to work with a variety of anxiety disorders including, OCD and OCD Spectrum Disorders, Health Anxiety, Specific Phobias, Selective Mutism, Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, Generalized Anxiety Disorder and Panic Disorder. In addition, Michelle is a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT-200) with Yoga Alliance, numerous Baptiste Teacher Trainings, and is currently in the process of completing her 300-hour Yin Yoga Certification through Josh Summers’ School of Yin Yoga. She incorporates the teaching of yoga in her therapeutic style.
